The Loafing Leprechaun opened March 7th, 2005 beside the Holiday Inn at the corners of Satellite Blvd and Sugarloaf Parkway. St Paddy's Day, the place was crowded with people of all ages enjoying the great atmosphere and music from Keltic Kudzu and the Bordercollies. The pub is richly decorated in woods and authentic Irish equipment and bar. The menu has a variety of essential Irish fare as well as standard pub fare boasting Irish monikers such as the Dubliner, an excellent basic burger. The bar is well stocked and has a nice selection of beers and ales. But it will be up to you, the patrons, to bring it back to a more Irish atmosphere. Like most Irish pubs in the area, the Loafing has to keep the doors open and while there is always an effort at these pubs to fulfill their name, bringing in live Celtic music requires a full house of paying customers who have come for the blarney and tunes and a few brews and food. There is an occasional Irish group playing to the regulars and the owners have tried Open Mic which seems to yield non-paying Coca Cola crowds. But an Irish pub needs more than just the few holidays to really feel the blarney. Regular Schedule:
