M'vorneen's Irish Pub
A great Irish Pub, M’vorneen’s, opened in Cartersville, December 14th, 2002. "Since our beginning we have supported Irish Musicians, helped introduce an entire community to some of the culture and epicurian delights that Ireland is known for. Our menu includes: Boxties, Irish Soda Bread(made in house), Irish Stew, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Shephards Pie, Bangers and Mash, and Fish and Chips. During our 3 years we have been opened, we have had to learn another aspect to our name, which is "pub". What we have realized is that our responsibility is to provide entertainment which our immediate public responds to. We have had many entertainment acts ranging from Sessions performed by friends from County Down, The Border Collies, Mickle a Do, Emerald Rose, The Mclauchlans (who still occasionally perform), The Charms, the Muses, Old Blind Dogs, Kathleen Donohoe etc.... We have appreciated and enjoyed everyone who has performed and with good faith hoped that by offering this wonderful music to our Pub community that we would be supported. That did not happen. So on we went trying out other forms of music that would appeal to the people who came in diligently to our humble pub. So quick to judge are those who have no knowledge of our trials. We continue to try to live up to the high standards others have set upon us, and continue to love Ireland and those friends and family that have been so dear to us." Zachary Lund Please come out and support this venue!!! An Irish pub that wants live Celtic music also needs the support of the Celtic community!
