the Norcross Tavern

Where would you expect to find a great little Irish Public House but at the end of Peachtree Street. Of course, this is old Norcross village and its S. Peachtree Street that ends on Jones. Right there, enter the double doors of Olde Peculiar, I mean the Norcross Tavern. Come in off the street and have a pint at the bar or sit with friends and laugh away the afternoon or evening. A warm cozy atmosphere with a well lit dart area. Try your luck in their regular Wednesday night dart tournaments. The pub recently has undergone some changes: a new owner, a fresh interior with new booths and pool tables, the patio area will soon be covered to allow better usage, and a larger menu. For the regulars, there are still all your favorites, from bangers and mash and Irish stew to an excellent fish and chips, and a new English breakfast. But add some standard pub fare such as the Norcross Doozie - a huge bacon cheeseburger, and such interesting meals as prime rib, baked salmon, lamb, calamari, and a sausage and beef meatloaf stuffed with spinach and mozzarella. Friday nights is live music, so call them and request your favorite Celtic group.
