Below are some pictures from last St. Patrick's Day.  The pub is a few blocks from the start of the parade, so it is a great place for a pint before or after the parade.  Last year they fenced in the parking lot and had a big celebration. They hosted “Open Mic” for music groups throughout the day on Saturday (about 12 groups performed). There was also a Blarney Stone, which, of course, was pure blarney!.

Actually, the faux stone was made by the rock artisans building the new aquarium.  They were regular customers for the six or so months they were in town, so the pub was quite honored that they made the blarney stone for them.

A Murphy & A Leprechaun

As you can see from their website and any Atlanta advertising you'll ever see, they serve Atlanta's Best Fish & Chips.  Other Irish regular offerings are Irish Stew and on Thursday Corned Beef & Cabbage is the daily special. The rest of the menu is tried-and-true pub grub.
Naturally, they'll be having a big party on St. Patrick's Day this year. They'll be fencing off their parking lot and would like to have music again this year. They are also are considering having “Sumo in SoNo” after the parade. While certainly not Irish, they did it a couple of months ago and it was a blast!
